ENGLISH LECTURES.

The human respiratory system.
Today we begin the human respiratory system. This course instead of one lecture per week we are going to develope one unit. The whole one in English.

In order to think about the topics of this lecture. I would like to share with you some questions.
It is what we do every new topic.
However, today Claire is going to speak about diferent things and you have to write down the question about she is talking about.




1º. The respiratory System allows us to breathe. It brings oxygen into our bodies and send carbon dioxide out. This exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide is called respiration. In the same time our cells need Oxygen to obtain energy. It comes from several processes very hard to define... It is called also cellular respiration. 

2º. Mainly it is think Oxigen is the more extensive gas in the air. But it is not true. The air we breathe is mainly plenty of Nitrogen

3º And about breathe out... The thing is I would think nitrogen would be the most extensive due its percentage in the air is about 78%. however it is carbon dioxide

4º Not to much but if I think about my years in the high school It would be nose...

Buenos días de LUNES. 
¿Quién ha elegido hoy la canción para que nos gusten los lunes?
Ya casi terminando el tema vamos a realizar un par de actividades bilingüe.

La primera es la siguiente. Mira el siguiente video. 

Supone un recorrido a través de la célula. Tranquil@ no voy a pedir que hagas una recapitulación... (¿sabes lo que significa?) en inglés de todas las palabras que tanto te ha costado aprender en Español. 
Sin embargo, necesito que escribas tu opinión personal a cerca del video en inglés. Igualmente, recuerda que tuviste que hacer un símil entre los orgánulos de la célula y lo que estimaste oportuno. De ahí salió el ejercicio que os puse. 
Quiero que pongas en inglés al menos 3 orgánulos y a qué los asociastes. 

Aquí va mi ejemplo:

I represented the nucleous of the cell as my bedroom. In my opinion all the important things in my life are in my house and much more in my bedroom. 

La segunda parte del ejercicio que vais a realizar es a través de una canción.

LA BIOSFERA. Actividades bilingües.

Hello everyone!

How is it going? 

As we mentioned at lectures today with Carter here is the link to watch the video about the BIOSPHERE. tema 6. La biosfera. 

It is a simple work. You just have to watch the video. And choose 20 adjetives from the list I gave you. So, watch the film and think about what you feel. Remember; it is important you know the meaning. 

Don´t get worry about the video. It is amazing so relax yourself, enjoy your sofa, some popcorns and obviously; your family as well!!!. Enjoy the power of beauty. The beauty of your HOME. 

Also, if you don´t have enough time don´t worry!. You have 1 week. The film it is 90 minutes long. Divide the minutes between the days and you have to loose just 12 minutes per day... Are you sure you don´t have enough time?

In spanish:

Es importante que veas la peli en inglés. Para poner los subtítulos pincha a la derecha de donde viene el tiempo. Un cuadradito que si te pones encima pone "subtítulos y subtítulos opcionales". 

Después de hacer click aquí, a la derecha hay como una tuerca. En la que pone configuración. 

Pincha donde pone subtítulos. 

Luego en traducir automáticamente. 

Y busca ESPAÑOL. Listo!

SCIENCES 2º ECOSYSTEM

Today we began new issue. As we mentioned it is about ecosystem. We checked the essence in the last issue. As  you remember, (I´m pretty sure about that, ;) we learnt about "biocenosis", "biotipo"... Now we are going to learn about the different ecosystems. 
In this way, there are different places where you can find protected areas. Protected ecosystems. 
The main important for us is MONFRAGÜE. 
FOR THE NEXT WEDNESDAY you have to bring a tex about the main reason you could explain someone to come and visit the park and Extremadura.
